Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making all the India Neighbour Nations to allow the facility of Paying through the India Payment card the RuPay.

MODI BILATERAL TALKS WITH BHUTAN ARE SUCCESS

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held Bilateral talks with the Bhutan Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bhutan Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering discussed steps to further expand the India-Bhutan partnership in several sectors of the Economy.

 

PM MODI SIGNED 10 MoU WITH BHUTAN

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bhutan Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering  got a total of ten agreements signed between the two nations.

The majority of the India-Bhutan Agreements were in the field of higher education. 

The India-Bhutan Agreements included MoUs on cooperation in judicial and legal education; agreements between Royal University of Bhutan and IITs of Kanpur, Delhi and Bombay and NIT Silchar. 

The India-Bhutan Agreements included a power purchase agreement between PTC India Limited and Druk Green Power Corporation Limited for sale and purchase of Mangdechhu Power.

The India-Bhutan Agreements included the Peering Agreement between National Knowledge Network of India (NKN) and Department of Information Technology and Telecom (Druk Research and Education Network).

The India-Bhutan Agreements included the MoU on cooperation relating to aircraft accident and incident investigation. 

In addition there was an on the establishment of Satcom Network for the utilisation of South Asia Satellite.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bhutan Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering have ensured that India and Bhutan are Bonded Together in All Sectors of the Bhutan Economy, Trade, Defence and Security.

 

MODI INNAUGURATED INDIA BUILT PROJECTS IN BHUTAN

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bhutan Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering inaugurated the Mangdechhu hydroelectric project built by the India engineers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bhutan Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering jointly inaugurated the ISRO built ground station that will help Bhutan use transponders of the  India ISRO Satellite. 

 

PM MODI MAKES INDIA RuPay CARD VALID IN BHUTAN

Bhutan will be second country after Singapore to use the RuPay card.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bhutan Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering launched the RuPay Card. 

 

MODI WINS HEARTS & MINDS OF BHUTAN PEOPLE

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the media at Thimpu, after the signing of several MoU agreements between India and Bhutan and after the conclusion of the Bilateral Talks.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the media at Thimpu said that: “I am very happy to launch the RuPay card in Bhutan. This will help improve our ties in digital payment, trade and tourism,” said PM Modi while addressing the media after the signing of agreements and conclusion of talks.

 

MODI ASSURES INDIA FINANCES FOR BHUTAN PROGRESS

Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured India’s support to Bhutan in several other fields.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured India’s financial assistance to Bhutan’s Five Year Plan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India Finance Assistance to Bhutan  will be based on the Bhutan priority and desires. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that joint spiritual legacy and strong people-to-people connect is the strength of India-Bhutan relationship. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured the Bhutan PM Tshering of India’s help to build a multi-disciplinary super specialty hospital in Bhutan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the India to Bhutan, LPG supply increase, from 700 mt to 1000 mt.
