The Supreme Court in its 17 July 2019 Verdict has stated that the 15 MLAs who Resigned their Seats MUST Not be compelled by the JDS and the INC through the WHIP to Attend the Assembly Meetings.
The Supreme Court SHIELD to the 15 Resigned MLAs gives them the Protection from the Anti-Defection Law Disqualification Proceedings, so as to abstain from the Voting on 18 July 2019 on the Confidence Vote Motion by the JDS Chief Minister H.D.Kumaraswamy.
