The Telangana Voters have voted in Four Lok Sabha and 17 Assembly By-Elections.

TRS

The Telangana Rashtra Samiti with a Single Point Agenda of breaking the state of Andhra Pradesh in to smaller units to create a separate state of Telangana was rejected by the Telangana Voters.

The TRS Lost 2 of the 4 Sitting Lok Sabha Seats and 9 of the 16 Sitting Assembly Seats.

TDP

The Telugu Desam Party opposed to creation of Telangana but not saying so, was revived by the Voters in Telangana.

The TDP won One of the Four Lok Sabha Seats winning Warangal by a narrow margin of 4000 votes. The TDP won only 4 of the 16 Telangana Assembly seats.

CONGRESS

The Indian National Congress divided within itself on the issue of creating a Telangana State, delaying a decision on Telangana Statehood, but campaigning on the strength of the YSR Government Pro-Poor, Pro-Farmers, Pro-Infrastructure won the Blessings and votes of the people of Telangana.

The Sonia Congress won the Adilabad Lok Sabha Seat by a huge margin.
The Congress also won 7 of the 17 Assembly seats in Telangana.

ANALYSIS OF TELANGANA RESULTS

ONE:

Telangana Voters have not voted in a wave in the Assembly By-Elections.
It is a Mixed Result.

TWO:

The Assembly Constituency is a much smaller area. It is just One Seventh of a Lok Sabha Area.
Local factors will subdue the Large Telangana Patriotic Sentiment. Local Caste equations, Prejudices against Candidate, Votes Mobilisation, Organisational Preparedness and Quality of Opposition.

The Telangana Patriotic Sentiment has greater intensity in a larger area like the Lok Sabha.

THREE:

The TRS won Two of the four Lok Sabha By-Elections.
This clearly indicates that the Voters want the creation of a Separate State of Telangana.

FOUR:

The TRS had 16 MLAs. It has lost 9 of them winning only 7 MLAs.
This is a clear indication that the voters are nauseating at the sight of the TRS.
Voters have rejected the corrupt, insincere, debaucherous leadership of the TRS.
Voters have rejected the Corrupt TRS and want it to be kicked out of Telangana Politics.

FIVE:

The People of Telangana want a New Credible Party to articulate the Issue of a separate State for Telangana. Between now and the May 2009 Lok Sabha Elections if a New Telangana Party emerges then it will win most of the 17 Lok Sabha Seats.
Voters definitely want a New Party to fight for Telangana.

SIX:

The BJP has no credibility in Telangana.
The BJP is dominated by Two factions both Bossed by Andhra Region Leaders. They are opposed to Telangana.
The BJP Loud Talk on Telangana does not impress voters.
Telangana has rejected the BJP.

SEVEN:

The TDP has a strong base in the Telangana Region among Backward Classes.
The TDP while in power opposed Telangana.
Now since a couple of months the TDP is soft on Telangana.
The TDP thus has picked up votes angry with TRS but not wanting to vote for the Congress.
The TDP should have won all the Telangana Seats because the TRS and the Congress broke Alliance and fought bitterly. The TDP won only 4 0f the 16 Telangana Assembly seats.

Chandrababu Naidu has marshaled the TDP support system to bounce back a Little in Telangana.

EIGHT:

The Congress is celebrating the voter appreciation for the YSR Governmental Agenda of Welfare, Development and Rural-Urban Infrastructure.

Chief Minister YSR is the Only Clear Voice opposing the creation of Telangana.
The diehard Telangana Voter were therefore expected to vote against the Congress.
YSR has implemented a Pro-Poor Governmental agenda that provides immense relief to the Poor and the Lower Middle Classes suffering from the High Prices. This has fetched the Congress precious votes.
YSR Pro-Infrastructure Programmes have won votes across Telangana.

YSR GOVERNANCE has defeated the Misuse of the Telangana Sentiment.
Sonia’s Confidence in YSR Leadership has reaped a huge harvest for the Sonia Congress in Telangana.

YSR Pro-Voters Governmental Agenda, without conceding the separate state, has shored up the Sonia Congress in the impossible region of Telangana.

The YSR performance comes at a time when the Sonia Congress is being rejected across the country in state after state, because of the Mis-Governance of the Economy by the Manmohan Central Government.

TAILPIECE

Chief Minister YSR has proved to be competent to definitely deliver 30 of the 42 Lok Sabha Seats to the Sonia Congress in the 2009 Lok Sabha Elections.

Sonia definitely needs a YSR in every State.

The Telangana Results in favour of the Congress strengthen the YSR line that there is no need to divide the state into smaller states to win elections.
