THARA DEVI BEGINS SONIA EXPERIMENT TO WIN 2009

Smt D.K.Thara Devi Siddhartha, Coffee Queen, Former Union Minister and Former Member of Parliament from Chikamagalur rejoined the Indian National Congress today on 6 April 2008 at the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee head Office at Bangalore in the presence of the entire leadership of the Sonia Congress..

In 1998 she had left the Congress to join the BJP. Since then the BJP is winning the Chikamagalur Lok Sabha Constituency.

Smt D.K.Thara Devi Siddhartha, will be the Congress Candidate from Chikamagalur in the next Lok Sabha Election.
Thus the Sonia Congress hopes to win back the once Congress Stronghold constituency of Chikamagalur represented by Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Thara Devi’s reinduction in to the Congress thus begins the Sonia Experiment of Welcoming Back to the Congress, Mass Leaders who were pushed towards other Political Systems in the Lost Decade.

VAJPAYEE-ADVANI UNWISELY LOST DECADE 1998-2008

The BJP came to power by capturing the Government of India in 1998.
Sonia came to power by capturing the Indian national Congress Party in 1998.

If the Vajpayee-Advani Team had transformed the BJP in to a genuine Centrist Alternative to the Congress then the Sonia Congress would have disappeared and the BJP would have won 300 Lok Sabha seats in 2004.

The Vajpayee-Advani Failure has allowed Sonia to be the Congress President for a decade.

MIGRATION OF CONGRESS EX-MPs

Popular Congress MPs were denied the Congress Tickets because in 1998 Sitaram Kesri as Congress President sold away winning Constituencies to Party Bosses looking for a safe Constituency. In the Process Mass Leaders with Financial Integrity like Smt D.K.Thara Devi Siddhartha were uprooted and pushed out of the Congress to accommodate corrupt Power Brokers as Lok Sabha Candidates. In the Process Congress Stronghold Constituencies like Chikamagalur were lost to the BJP because of the Migration of Congress Mass Leaders like Smt D.K.Thara Devi Siddhartha to the BJP.

These Dedicated Congress MPs who were denied the Congress Ticket migrated to the BJP in the hope of Vajpayee-Advani creating a new Centrist Alternative to the Congress and protecting their political careers.

Vajpayee-Advani took in most of these Congress MPs made them work for BJP candidates, converted the sure-loss constituencies in to BJP Victories and then humiliated the Congress MPs by not accommodating them. The BJP thus betrayed these Mass Leaders as much as the Congress Party betrayed them!

In the process these Lok Sabha Constituencies were won by the BJP and Regional Parties but the Congress MPs nurtured a deep sense of betrayal by Vajpayee-Advani.

The Vajpayee-Advani leadership was sabotaged by the Dirty Dozen Factotums in the BJP.
The Dirty Dozen prevented the growth of the BJP by not assimiliitating the mass leaders from the Congress.

The shoddy treatment meted out to the Congress MPs who joined the BJP set a demonstrative example to others who were unhappy in the Congress.

VAJPAYEE NEVER CREATED A CENTRIST ALTERNATIVE TO CONGRESS

Vajpayee-Advani never created the National Centrist Alternative to the Congress.
Vajpayee-Advani and their Dirty Dozen Factotums created within the BJP a more ugly atmosphere than that in the Congress.
Thus repelling all those who wanted to migrate from the Congress.
Thus they stayed back in the Congress and stabilised Sonia as the Congress President for a Decade!

SONIA EXPERIMENT: REVERSE MIGRATION

Congress President Sonia has begun her eleventh consecutive year in office at the helm of India’s largest Political Party the Indian National Congress by inviting former Congress Lok Sabha MPs who are in other Political Systems to return to the Sonia Congress and contest as Congress Candidates in the 2009 Lok Sabha Polls.

Sonia has identified the Lok Sabha Constituencies which the Congress lost because of the absence of Earlier winners caused by their migrating to other Parties on being betrayed by the party Bosses.

Sonia has got her Party General Secretaries to contact each one of the Ex Congress Ex-MPs assuring them of the Congress Party Ticket in the next Lok Sabha Elections and restoration of their status.

Beginning 1st April 2008, these Ex-Congress MPs return to the Sonia Congress to prepare to contest and win the 2009 Lok Sabha Elections.
