QUIT INDIA
Today, the 9 th of August 2010 , is the Anniversary of the 1942 "Quit India" Movement, led by Mahatma Gandhi, to achieve Independence for India from British Rule.
If the British had to be made to Quit India , then, today, India desperately needs Corruption to Quit India , from the Rashtrapati to the Commoner, in all activities of human endeavour.
When will India launch a Movement against the Corrupt to "Quit India 's Politics, Governance, Society, Judiciary, Business, Media, Health, Welfare, Infrastructure, Education, Sports?
ILLEGAL MINING
The Illegal Mining of Iron Ore , Precious Metals, Minerals and Coal is a nationwide phenomena inflicted by a corrupt nexus of Miners-Bureaucrats-Politicians.
Lakhs of crores worth of Material is mined and exported, without paying any Taxes, thus causing a gigantic loss of lakhs of crores to the Government every year.
ILLEGAL MINERS
Political Position Holders of Every Party in almost every State are involved in this mammoth loot of Mining Wealth in connivance with Miners.
Each and Every Big Name in India 's Business is involved in profiteering from Illegal Mining.
KARNATAKA UNDERMINING
In Karnataka the Export of Illegally Mined Iron Ore has been happening since the last 60 years.
In the last 30 years, the Illegal Mining Operations in Karnataka have been done by Politicians of all shades in connivance with Officials and Miners.
In the Last 15 years, the Chief Ministers and Ministers of the Congress Party, Janata Dal and the BJP have made Illegal Mining one of the Biggest lucrative Business.
In the last 10 years, Illegal Mining has been done Brazenly by the Congress Chief Ministers S.M.Krishna, Dharam Singh, Janata Dal Chief Minister Kumaraswamy, their families, their MLAs and their Associates to loot Karnataka of thousands of crores every year.
In the last 7 years, the BJP Ministers in Karnataka have broken all the previous records of Illegal Mining.
CORRUPT BJP GOVERNMENT
The BJP Chief Minister B.S.Yeddyurappa has proven to be as corrupt as all the Congress Party and Janata Dal chief Ministers.
The BJP Chief Minister is providing Patronage, Protection and Preservance, to the Miners doing Illegal Mining, by continuing to keep them in his Cabinet, as was done by the Congress and JD Chief Ministers.
The BJP, the Janata Dal and the Congress Party are engrossed in foul mouthing each other, accusing Position Holders in Each Party of looting Karnataka, by doing Illegal Mining.
YEDDYURAPPA RESPONSE
The BJP Chief Minister responded to the allegations against Illegal Mining by his Ministers in a Two Fold Strategy.
ONE:
Yeddyurappa wrote to the Prime Minister requesting the Banning of the Export of Iron Ore from India .
The Manmohan Government which collects thousands of crores of corrupt money from Illegal Mining across the country, is refusing to Ban the Export of Iron Ore from India .
Yeddyurappa then insisted that the Government of India Ban the Export of Iron Ore from Karnataka.
The Manmohan Government is in as much connivance with Illegal Mining, as the BJP Karnataka Government is and is refusing the Chief Minister's Request.
TWO:
Yeddyurappa has Now banned the Export of Iron Ore from the State of Karnataka and has sealed the Borders.
Yeddyurappa has also banned the Transportation of Iron Ore within the State and out of the State.
The Courts will strike down the Yeddyurappa Government's Decisions because they violate the Constitution.
BJP CM HAS NO CREDIBILITY
Yeddyurappa has thus scored a surfacial Political Point against the Congress Party and the Manmohan Government.
Yeddyurappa has No Credibility, as long as the Illegal Miners continue in his Cabinet.
CONGRESS MOBILISATION
The Congress Party in Karnataka, after failing to get the BJP Ministers involved in Illegal Mining, sacked, has initiated a Programme of Mass Action.
Most of the Iron Ore Mining is done in the District of Bellary on the Border of Andhra Pradesh.
BENGALURU-BELLARY PADA-YATRA
The Congress Party began a PADA-YATRA (Walk Tour) from the State Capital Bengaluru to Bellary , covering 325 Kilometers.
The 15 Days Padayatra trekked 25 Kilometers every day, to end Today the 9 August 2010 at Bellary , in a Huge Public Meeting.
During this Padayatra, the Congress Party Leaders and Activists are articulating in small, big and huge Public Meetings along the Route:
The naked corruption, sustaining of Illegal Mining, failure to deliver Governance and the Anti-People functioning of the BJP State Government.
100 LEADERS WALKED FOR 15 DAYS
The entire Bengaluru to Bellary Padayatra, has been Walked by about 100 Leaders and 500 Congress Activists.
Some of the Prominent Leaders who walked the whole distance, are listed here:
POSITION HOLDERS:
The PCC President, Working President and all the Position Holders in the Assembly and Council.
OTHER IMPORTANT CONGRESS LEADERS who walked the entire length from Bengaluru to Bellary:
Smt D.K.Thara Devi. B.C.Patil. S.C.Mahadevappa. V.Muniyappa. Nade Gowda. Nanje Math. K.Byre Gowda. Smt Tejasvini. Jayachandra. Sudarshan. S.T.Somasekhar. Prafulla Dinakar. Ramalinga Reddy. N.L.Narendra Babu. Dinesh Gundu Rao. Smt Manjula Naidu. Dr Mahadev. M.Guttedar.
Many Ex MPs, MLAs, MLCs, Ex MLAs, Ex MLCs, Zilla Parishad Position Holders, Present-Past District-Block Presidents and important Congressmen from all the 28 Lok Sabha Constituencies walked for 15 Consecutive Days, in the Padayatra.
Former Union Minister D.K.Thara Devi, inspite of severe Blisters on the feet, against the advice of the Doctors walked the entire Bengaluru to Bellary for 15 Days, without shoes, cheered by the thousands of inspired Congress Activists.
ALL CONGRESS PARTICIPATED
Congressmen from Two Districts, were allotted Each Day of the Padayatra, to thus bring Congressmen from all the Districts to walk for a Day.
A Special team of Congressmen, organised the Food and accommodation along the entire route for all the Participants.
The Padayatra thus had the Participation of the Congress Party from all the 294 Assembly Constituencies.
10,000 Congress Activists participated every day, in the Padayatra.
PADAYATRA IS A BIG SUCCESS
The Padayatra has generated enthusiasm within the Congress Party.
The Padayatra has invoked hope in all the Anti-BJP Voters across the Route.
LEADERLESS
The Karnataka Congress Party, has NO Credible Leadership, in the State.
The voters enthused by the Padayatra, will get focus ONLY when a Credible Congressperson is at the Forefront of the Campaign against the corrupt BJP Government.
UNCHECKED BJP
The BJP Government has a majority and cannot be destabilised until 2013 May, the date of Assembly Elections.
The BJP, inspite of sustaining the most corrupt Government, is growing stronger at the Constituency Level, because there is No Leadership in the State to integrate all the sections of the Congress Party and to mobilise
the voters cutting across the caste divide.
AFTER THE PADAYATRA
The Padayatra has been successful in hyping the corruption, mis-governance and patronage to Illegal Miners parading as BJP Ministers.
The Congress Party must, after the Padayatra, expel the Congress Leaders involved in Illegal Mining, in the Central Government and in the State Party Unit.
The Congress Party must first cleanse itself of all Illegal Miners, to force the BJP to throw out all the Illegal Miners, from the BJP State Government.
SONIA STRATEGY: CLEAN PCC PRESIDENT
Congress President Sonia will have to identify and appoint a Credible, Honest, Competent and Articulate Leader, as the Pradesh Congress President, in the September 2010 Organisational Elections, to ably steer the Congress Party to victory, in the 2013 Assembly Elections.
The voters will sway to the Congress Party, ONLY if Sonia appoints a Person of Impeccable Financial Integrity, to ably Lead the Congress Party, against the Corrupt BJP Chief Minister-Ministers Government.
FINISHLINE
The Manmohan Government must respond to the Karnataka Congress Padayatra, against Illegal Mining by the BJP Ministers, by immediately announcing an Action Plan to Prevent Illegal Mining in Karnataka and across the country.
Mass Protest against the Karnataka BJP Government must be urgently followed by definitive action by the Central Government. |
