India has Two Main National Alliances.
The Sonia Congress led United Progressive Alliance comprising of
Regional Parties opposed to the BJP.
The Rajnath Singh led National Democratic Alliance comprising of
Regional Parties opposed to the Congress.
In many constituencies these Two Alliances are in
Direct Fight with each other.
Every seat that the BJP loses will be picked up by
the Congress. Every seat that the Congress loses will be won only
by the BJP
Thus there are a sizeable number of Constituencies out of the total
of 543 Lok Sabha constituencies in which ONLY the BJP and the Congress
are in Direct Fight with each other.

BJP OR the Congress Party then the Total Number of Constituencies
that Both the BJP and the Congress can win will not be more than
190.
2009 COMMUNISTS PROSPECTS
In 2009 there is a possibility that the Non-Congress
and Non-BJP Parties could win 353 MPs.
The Communists will win at best 60 MPs and
at worst 30 MPs.
2009 REGIONAL GOVERNMENT
In 2009 there is a possibility that the Non-Congress,
Non-BJP and Non-Communist Parties could win 290 MPs.
There will be no need to take the support
of either the BJP or the Congress or the Communists to form the
Central Government.
For the First Time,
in 2009, Pure Regional Forces Government could be formed with the
fabrication of a Post-Election Coalition of Regional Parties keeping
the Communists, the BJP and the Congress Out.
