NO ALLIANCE BY CONGRESS

AGP
The Assam Gana Parishad was a Party created by Students fighting against the Demographic Invasion of Assam .
The AGP defeated the INC in the assembly Elections to capture the State Government. Prafulla Kumar Mahanta became the Chief Minister.
Mahanta messed up the Opportunity by indulging in Corruption.
The AGP was defeated in the next Elections.
The AGP utilised the Coalition Era, to become part of the United Front Governments in 1996 and 1997 in the Central Government.
The AGP later became an Alliance Partner of the BJP.
The AGP-BJP Alliance failed to capture the state Government because of the high Bangladesh Muslim Population voting against it.

The Bangladesh Muslims have Now become Third Generation Voters.
The Muslims have recently formed a Party of Muslims called the Assam United Democratic Front, the AUDF. Its Leader is Badruddin Ajmal.
The AUDF represents the Muslims of Assam .
The Muslims feel that they have been voting for the INC in Every Election, to prevent the BJP from capturing the state Government, but the INC has done nothing for the Welfare of the Muslims.
The Muslims are frustrated with the arrogance, insensitivity and failure of the INC to serve the Muslims.
HINDUS
The AGP represents the Hindus of Assam
The BJP is not able to deliver enough votes for the AGP to capture the Government.
The AGP therefore wants to break alliance with the BJP.
The AGP is planning to try a New Experiment, to capture the State Government, by contesting the Elections on its own and then forming a Post-Poll Anti Congress Party Coalition Government.
